Lookout Point Resort, Maine
LOOKOUT POINT WEBSITE

WE’VE GOT CABIN-FEVER FOR THIS MAINE RESORT.

Cleverly disguised as a spot for faddy-duddy conventions, we’ve uncovered Point Lookout’s alter-ego as a perfect getaway for rip-roaring family fun. Ah-ha, Point Lookout, we are on to you!!

The beauty of Point Lookout is that it combines the privacy and convenience of cabin rental with the amenities of a hotel living. Settle into one of Point Lookout’s 106 new cabins (forget rustic, I want clean!) spread across an expanse of pristine Maine acreage and then take the evening off and order-in for free delivery from the on-site cafe. Don’t worry about cleaning up, housekeeping will be there in the morning.

LOCATION
Point Lookout Resort, just outside Camden, Maine
2 hour drive north of Portland
just under 4 hours from Logan Airport

PLAYING
• some of the more 22nd century recreation facilities include:
-virtual golf
-artificial-turf soccer field
-video arcade
-bowling
• basic, ol’ run-of-the-mill facilities:
-hiking
-tennis
-sailing
-skiiing

EATING
• Each cabin includes a kitchen
• The on-site cafe has free delivery to the cabins

SLEEPING
• I’d definitely call to see which cabins are the best choice (location-wise) for families, esp. ones with small kiddos

TIPS
• This isn’t going to be a secret for much longer, so book while there’s still room!
• The reason why I don’t have any actual images of Lookout Point is because they’re all staged with either a corporate robot or an active senior (often with a child also included in the pic). Point Lookout, if you’d like me to come out with the family and get some great family-friendly pictures, just let me know!

• I can’t believe I have made it through the entire post without one pun built around ‘the maine event’.
